Accidents in mines may be caused due to hardware error, environmental deficiencies, defective processes, situational factors and human error. Whatsoever may be the cause, but when they occur, there is great loss involving lives, time and other assets. The scope of this paper is to deal with human error to prepare a cycle & a matrix of various human & other existing factors and a cognitive model for miners working in underground mines under unnatural and hazardous environmental conditions having the constant fear of accidents
