Abstract :
High accuracy and high reliability are two important performances of a navigation system. An integrated navigation technique combines advantages of each subsystem, increases redundancy and maximally improves performance of the system. So, it represents the developing tendency of a modern navigation system. But it complicates the system and demands more control. INS/GPS/TAN (inertial navigation system, Global Positioning System, terrain aid navigation) concentrated the high autonomy of INS, the high accuracy of GPS and additional correction of TAN. For this reason, INS/GPS/TAN is one of a perfect integrated navigation systems. This paper describes how to select integration mode according to the flight environment and manage navigation sources using fuzzy theory. The simulation results show that the self-adjustable fuzzy management system of INS/GPS/TAN (SAFMS) has more advantages
