Abstract
This paper presents the design of a cardiovascular monitoring system, for implementation on an embedded device. Design of the necessary hardware is described, and ECG and Stethoscope analysis methodologies are detailed. A computational cost analysis is presented which shows implementation on a commercially available microcontroller is feasible.
