Abstract
An online parameter identification method for AC motor drives is discussed. It has previously been shown that an injected harmonic signal in the machine´s PWM supply can be used to measure parameters such as winding resistance and inductance. The methods used to perform the necessary processing in real time are now addressed, taking account limited resolution data and processing speed. A DSP implementation is used to verify the method chosen. Results from online DSP and offline PC based measurement systems are compared.
