Abstract :
This paper using a technique of optical double sideband by a concept of phase compensation to improve the reduction of RF power due to fiber chromatic dispersion on the ultra wideband-over-fiber (UWBOF) system. This method will be compared with the optical single sideband technique. Moreover, we use multi-band orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (MB-OFDM) signals on this system and analyze the different fiber and free-space wireless transmission distances. The experimental results demonstrated that proposed system can achieve the better performances.
