Abstract :
This paper reviews some of the causes of non-ideal performance and output distortion in log-domain circuits, and In particular considers issues which limit the maximum operating frequencies of log-domain filters. A further development of log domain circuits for very high frequency operation-termed fT integration-is outlined, and the performance of fT integrators is compared with their log-domain counterparts
