Abstract
Online bidding and procurement, as one of the advanced business models, has been widely used in manufacturing enterprises exhibiting traits of modern enterprise management: speed, cost and variety. The Chinese military-industrial enterprises are still under the influence of planned economy; therefore, it is of utmost importance to use the advanced modern enterprise management theories and tools to improve efficiency and reduce cost while implementing institutional transformation. This article introduces the theories about design and implementation of online bidding and procurement in Chinese military industry enterprises. It also presents an analysis of the advantages and disadvantages in using online bidding and procurement in a manufacture enterprise.
