Abstract
This paper examine the moderating effect of environmental dynamism on the relationship between strategic schema, strategic flexibility and technological innovation capability. We employ the key property of strategic schema: complexity. Using a sample of 379 firms, we show that the pattern of relationships among the theoretical constructs is different in fast- and slow-changing environment. The results suggest that complexity of strategic schema promotes technological innovation capability via strategic flexibility, especially in fast changing environment.
