Abstract :
Beam breakup (BBU) in the drive beam of a two-beam accelerator (TBA) using transverse wakes calculated by the AMOS code was studied numerically. Only cumulative BBU due to the wake of the linear induction accelerator cavities is considered. Growth lengths on the order of ~100 m are found for typical parameters. It is concluded that these growth lengths are acceptable for a future TBA
