Abstract :
In this paper we have proposed a novel SOI Microring resonator based biosensor. The ring radius is 1.5μm and the waveguide has a dimension of 500nm×220nm. The sensor has waveguide sensitivity of 11.11×10-3 and the resonant wavelength shift is 8.824 nm/RIU. The sensor is very compact since we have chosen nanophotonic regime.
