Summary form only given. This paper presents the method of dynamic data envelopment analysis (DDEA) for the vertical comparison of an enterprise or department. This method is different from the method of static data envelopment analysis used in similar horizontal comparisons. In this paper, the DDEA model is explained by using a practical example of a mining enterprise. The main steps of the approach are also detailed
