Abstract
A CMOS current feedback opamp suitable for digital VLSI technology has been designed and tested. The design exploits a novel voltage buffer topology which is characterised by lower output impedance and higher bandwidth compared to classical class-AB followers for the same power dissipation. The technique employs local current feedback. Measurements in a 0.6 μm digital CMOS technology confirm that the design achieves low power dissipation, wide bandwidth and good linearity
