Abstract :
This paper proposes a detection method of hierarchically-modulated (HM) data for advanced T-DMB receivers by incorporating coherent detection. To enhance the estimation accuracy, both a coded decision-directed scheme and a moving average method are introduced. Simulation results show that the proposed method successfully detects HM data only if the SNR is secured above about 20 dB.
