Abstract :
An improved texture synthesis algorithm is proposed to fill up holes left after unpleasant objects removal in digital images. This method introduces a first-order approximation model to implement local texture propagation. And weighted sum of squared differences (wSSD) by 2D Gaussian distribution is employed as a matching criterion.
