Abstract
The design of stabilizing linear output feedback control of uncertain systems is a computationally demanding optimization problem as local minima may exist which are distinct from the global minimum. However, in some special cases, quasi-convexity can be proven through a simple redefinition of variables and/or a reformulation of the problem in the dual form. Such special cases include state feedback control for both discrete and continuous time systems
