  • Abstract
    In this paper, we present an ultra wide band frequency modulation (UWBFM) system well suited for both radio communication and localisation. Based on a like FMCW (frequency modulation continuous wave) approach, this system does no longer need central base station and is hence compatible with ad hoc network. Achieving low and medium data rate (L-MDR) and high precision localisation (HPL) this architecture can be used for several applications involving data routing in the emergent field of mobile sensor network.
