Abstract :
This paper details our initial experiences with volunteer trials of our time-domain microwave breast screening system. The system uses 16 sensors to record backscattered electromagnetic energy from the breast in a multistatic radar scenario. All measurements are performed in the time-domain. We describe the patient inclusion criteria and test scan setup, and include early results from the volunteer scans.
