Abstract :
This paper presents results of our theoretical works on new uses of old imaging methodology and support that with some actual experimental analysis carried out in higher microwave and millimeter wave frequency bands. The aims is development of robust detection system for hidden objects covered by dielectric with use of microwave holography. The measuring setup has been updated. For investigation of the method capabilities, the scene was illuminated with electromagnetic waves radiated by X- of K-band antennas from the bottom. The bi-polar or spherical near-field scanner acquires samples on a surface above the scene. The near-filed data are proceed D the bi-polar one in this paper. Use is made of optimal interpolation sampling technique and near- to far-field transform.
