Abstract :
The detection of concealed metallic object in the bag by using ultra wideband imaging is a cheap alternative to the security in the public area, compared to X-ray machines. This paper presents a UWB imaging system, including a modified rotating UWB antenna array, RF circuits and the 2D implementation of the delay-and-sum imaging algorithm. The 2D reconstructed image for the concealed metallic object in simulation has been successfully achieved.
