Abstract :
The authors outline a method for approximate input-output linearization of multi-input, multi-output (MIMO) systems. They discuss the problem of using feedback and coordinate change to transform a nonlinear system with outputs into an approximately input-output linearized one. The main result is to give a method for obtaining an approximately input-output linearized system with higher order error terms and a larger dimension approximate linear subsystem
