Abstract
An algorithm for analysis and optimization of coupled cavity chains containing selective absorbers is described. The algorithm is based on the partial regions method and calculates dispersion, interaction impedance and attenuation constants in cavity and slot passbands and neighboring stopbands. Selective absorbers are considered as dielectric resonators excited by the cavity field. The optimization is performed by Monte-Carlo and modified Newton methods. The results of analysis and optimization are presented.
