Abstract :
Microwave device which contains a square cross section shaped waveguide as a basic unit of travelling wave applicator with two dominant modes H/sub 10/ and H/sub 01/ excited with the help of the sequence of stub waveguiding bifurcations located at adjacent waveguide walls is considered. Experiment confirms efficiency of electromagnetic wave interaction with processed material and possibility of employing given design in high temperature mode.
