Abstract :
In this conference paper we study the scattering of a superellipsoid using high order integral equation methods. Usually, high order methods are very powerful for smooth surfaces, while the presence of edges deteriorate the efficiency due to the refinement processes required. In this paper we study the scattering of a cube with soften edges (superellipsoid) with different degrees of softening. The error obtained in the near field is in the range of 4-6 digits.
