Abstract :
Simulation results of a phase varying surface are presented as a technique for impairing a wireless communications signal. The applications of this technique are for secure electromagnetic buildings, where communication through walls or buildings is not desired. The received signal frequency spectrum and bit error rate plots are presented showing bit error rates over 30% for a wide range of input parameters. This demonstrates a robust solution to wireless signal impairment.
