Abstract :
The paper outlines the most theoretical and simulation studies undertaken on the Combined Analogue Locked Loop Universal Modulator (CALLUM) used to achieve very high efficiency linear RF power amplification. The results given define the performance bounds of the CALLUM technique and demonstrate its application in portable radio designs for cellular and private mobile radio networks
