Abstract
The authors give two examples of the use of a novel approach for building input language processing intensive programs in a lazy pure functional programming language. The proposed approach relies on a CASE (computer-aided software engineering) tool called W/AGE (Windsor attribute grammar environment) which facilitates the construction of programs as executable attribute grammars
