Abstract :
Summary form only given as follows. This paper examines some major recent developments in engineering management education in Australia, New Zealand, Britain and the USA. Some comparisons and contrasts are made. Australia has a unique arrangement in that the Institution of Engineers, stipulates a mandatory condition that 10 percent of all engineering undergraduate courses must be in engineering management. New Zealand and British engineering courses introduce EM studies in undergraduate programs. The USA has the largest and most advanced EM programs, with Australia increasing its graduate EM programs. Britain relies more on a Graduate Diploma program in EM administered by its council of engineering institutions, but Australia is more likely to follow the USA in graduate programs
