  • Abstract
    Dynamic performance of a static var compensator (SVC) employing the alternative twelve pulse arrangement is studied in order to investigate the practical usefulness of this new scheme. The power circuit, the control system and their interaction are modelled by digital simulation. Dynamic response of a conventional SVC is simulated for comparison.
