Abstract
The paper describes the design of an advanced choke ring antenna intended for a new radiation-type exposure system developed recently at IETR, France for bioelectromagnetic experiments at 60 GHz. The antenna provides a highly-uniform exposure of biological samples positioned close to the antenna aperture with the power density level three to five times higher than those provided by standard waveguide feeds.
