Abstract :
A low voltage dual-band low noise amplifier (LNA) is presented in this paper. A folded cascode topology is used to reduce the supply voltage. The supply voltage is only 0.7 V. A concurrent dual-band frequency response is achieved by using a broadband input matching network with a band-reject filter. The operating frequencies are 2-2.5 GHz and 4.2-4.8 GHz. The voltage gains are 16.7 dB at 2.2 GHz and 14.8 dB at 4.6 GHz. The noise figures are 3.53 dB at 2.2 GHz and 2.52 dB at 4.6 GHz. The power consumption is only 7.76 mW.
