Abstract :
Seamless service chains and information processes to support them was the main goal of Satakunta Macro Pilot project in 1999 - 2002. This paper describes the idea of customer centric seamless service chains within health and social care and requirements for the secure interorganizational information processes. The modeling of the information processes using use case methodology is presented. The results are the generic use cases which can be used in different service chains. The practical questions and solutions of the implementation are presented. The overall architecture of the Regional Information System and connections to source systems using HL7 CDA XML interfaces are described. Examples of specific use cases on the implemented information system are given. A conclusion of how well use case modeling solves collection of requirements for networked service chains is made.
