Abstract
Nonlocal, small-signal tracking and disturbance rejection are achieved by replacing linear feedback in the nonlinear regulator of C. Byrnes and A. Isidori (1990) by globally (semiglobally) stabilizing feedback for the unperturbed system. An application of the results is demonstrated using the ball and beam example
