Abstract :
Distortion in parasitic-insensitive switched-capacitor circuits is usually attributed to incomplete charging of capacitors due to finite switch on-resistance and nonlinear op-amp effects such as finite settling time. Even when these effects are made insignificant, unacceptable distortion may still result due to nonlinear charge injection during switch transitions. The authors present a preliminary analysis of this effect and, based on the analysis, ultraglow-distortion circuits are proposed and demonstrated.<>
