Abstract :
In this paper we present the electronic circuits design used in a torque measurement system. The torque measurement system has two parts: a rotating one (the transmitter) and a fixed one (the receiver). The information about torque, fetched from a strain gage bridge is processed and sent to a receiver by a rotating transformer. The rotating transformer is also employed for coupling power for the shaft mounted electronics. In the paper are given design equations, simulated and experimental results.
