Abstract
We have successfully designed and modelled to our knowledge for the first time, a polarised splitting lens which allows the focusing of two superimposed orthogonal linear polarisations side-by-side on the same plane. This concept can find application in many cases where the splitting and focusing of the two polarisations is required with limited space for splitters and is optimized for incoherent detectors.
