Abstract :
A novel approach for increasing the multipactor level in microwave transformer has been presented. The novel approach calls for a dielectric filled in the most narrow gap of the microwave transformer that perturb the resonance and multipacting electrons. This device has been successfully designed using a full-wave electromagnetic software. Simulation and measured results demonstrate that using the novel method multipactor threshold is obviously improved with regard to the initial design.
