Abstract :
This paper presents the methodology of resource value flow accounting developed for a study which combined material flow analysis (MFA) for the coal-fired power generation plant, in order to shed light on concepts such as resource productivity and dematerialization of the coal-fired power plant. Different from the previous macro-level MFA, this paper analyses the material cycle of coal-fired power plant based on the micro-scale, not only establish material balance model of the boiler combustion quantity center in accordance with the conservation principle of the mass and energy, but also analyses the resource value flow and its components of the combustion quantity center. The findings show that resource value flow accounting information of coal-fired power plant will play an eco-guide role for the cycle of material and energy resources.
