Abstract :
A new type of dominance measure for complex matrices based on a diagonal decentralized approach is presented. By imposing the condition that loops are designed in sequential order, it has been shown that this method yields an even smaller dominance measure when compared with measures like the generalized dominance and that based on the M-matrix techniques. When it is applied to matrices with nonpositive off-diagonal elements, the L-dominant condition and the M-matrix condition are shown to be equivalent. But the testing of the former is easier, and the computation involves simple Gauss eliminations
