Abstract
HorizoN is a fully integrated geographical information solution that is able to reuse data from past and present independent systems, and fuse them in a single and highly adaptable product capable of various utilizations in civil protection, planning, monitoring and marketing projects. The development of such a system was focused in creating new software architecture to allow an unprecedented environmental data interoperability and interchange capability.
