Abstract :
Two recursive polyhedric-description algorithms are presented for tracking time-varying parameters in the context of bounded error estimation. The first is mostly suited to following smooth parameter variations, whereas the second can accommodate abrupt changes of the parameter vector. A simple example shows that both algorithms can be used to follow time-varying parameters not only when the parameters are slowly varying but also when they are subject to abrupt changes
