Abstract :
This work presents results dealing with the design of the matrix of interstitial applicators, its numeric simulation, optimization, realization and subsequent verification of the characteristics for the microwave thermoablation. The operating frequency is 2.45 GHz. The aim was to choose an appropriate construction and type of studied applicators with respect to the homogeneity of SAR (resp. temperature) characteristics and also to the therapeutically effective profile.
