Abstract :
In this paper a dual polarised antenna array for outdoor WiFi access points, e.g. hotspots is described. The proposed antenna structure is operating at 5.8 GHz and consists of 64 (8×8) antenna elements. The waveguide radiators are fed simultaneously by two strip line distribution networks to excite both polarisations. This allows for a deployment of the presented antenna in MIMO antenna systems.
