Abstract :
In this paper, a reconfigurable circularly-polarized antenna designed for manufacturing in LTCC technology is presented. This antenna has been designed to operate with right or left hand circular polarizations. First results show that it is possible to obtain similar axial ratios, radiation patterns and impedance matching for both operation modes mentioned above. Simulation results presented in this work show, for each operating mode, a return loss better than 10 dB from 5.5 GHz to 6 GHz and an axial ratio below 3 dB in a beamwidth of 60 degrees in XZ and YZ planes.
