Abstract :
Recently several investigations are related to the application of fault detection techniques to different processes. This investigation focuses on the application of fault detection techniques to a Continuous Galvanization Process Line in ACESCO. The Canonical Variate Analysis technique was used to obtain a statistical model of the process and calculate two statistics to detect process faults. Finally the results showed the capacity of the technique to make detection in this kind of fast process.
