Abstract

The opening up of Brazilian economy has brought drastic restructuring of local corporate strategies, and therefore subsequent modification of technology strategies. This study analyzes changes in the practices of technology monitoring and R&D project screening and evaluation through twelve companies. The results indicate that these companies are focusing on fewer products and are more attuned to their clients
