Abstract :
Simulations of a tunable artificial magnetic conductor employing digitally tunable capacitors is presented. The tuning devices are used due to the low parasitic loss and linearity properties. The surface is modeled with a wideband monopole to illustrate the potential for tunable, low profile antenna systems.
