Displaying large images — a matrix based approach

The present article intends to present a revealing method for images on different representation levels. The idea is creating images of a certain dimension for each profoundness level. These images are decomposed in slices, are stored following a certain rule and represented on the screen. More than that, in this article is presented a search mechanism, on horizontal (same level) and vertical plane, among different portions of the image which canpsilat be displayed completely on the screen.
