Abstract
A novel design is described in which Lange coupler baluns, are used in a wideband push-pull amplifier to improve its second-order harmonic intercept point (IP2). Better than 10 dB of IP2 improvement has been demonstrated on a breadboard unit. The approach has potential applications for wideband high-efficiency power GaAs FET amplifiers.<>
