Abstract :
Summary form only given. Managing in technology environments is one of the greatest challenges encountered by man. People dealing with these challenges are always looking for aids and help. One way to put structure on, and find sanity in, these environments is to look at its key component-knowledge. The knowledge might come in the clusters or areas-critical knowledge areas (CKAs). The authors describe how a CKA represents a cluster of skills and competencies that, by its own definition, is critical to the survival and growth of the organization
