Abstract
We demonstrate the use of a polarization independent dual-port filter to extract SCM data from a WDM baseband SCM channel using a fiber loop-mirror filter. Suppressed carrier detection eliminates dispersion induced fading in the SCM channel and enables data recovery using simple photodetection for multiple WDM channels.
